The term “Ley” derived from Old English for “Cleared Space”..lines refer to the straight alignments between the various structures where Ley are connected.

Alfred Watkins (1855-1935) English author, originated the term of Ley lines, which became recognised & used in about 1921.

Alfred Watkins most famous “Ley” is St MICHAEL’S appropriately named after an arc angel). Because it is a Criss cross with 3 other Leys at a specific point on St Michaels Point in Cornwall in the UK.
